Midnight movie premiers at the local Hollywood 16 are usually pretty packed. For that reason, when my friends and I decided to go see X-Men First Class, I pre-ordered my ticket and made sure we were all at the theatre with plenty of time to spare.

DC Comics first published Green Lantern in 1940, amidst a comics boom. Now 71 years later Hollywood has adapted it for the silver screen. Opening June 17, Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds as the title character, Hal Jordan. Reynolds is known for a lot of different things, most notably his almost flawless physique which adds to the mythology of a spandex wearing super hero.
