With a recent switch of majors, I've been working hard to receive my associate of arts in mass communications by the summer of 2010. This spring will be my second semester in JOU2100 and my first semester as entertainment editor for the Patriot Press. I'm excited to receive the first-hand experience as part of the editorial team in piecing together the paper from story ideas to publishing.
My hopes are to use the knowledge that I acquire in the class as a foundation for my future in journalism and to use my experiences as entertainment editor in conjunction with my background in modeling as a starting point for a career in fashion, writing for publications like Vogue or Elle.
